Recording and replays
A stream can be recorded while it is live. Everything viewers see and hear is recorded, until you stop it or the stream ends. Once it ends, its page can play the replay, so those who missed it can catch up.
Recording a stream
In the studio of the stream, press Record, then Start recording. Stop recording stops it, or ending the stream does. A host can also start and stop it while live.
To record every time, turn on Record every time this stream goes live in the studio before going live: the recording then starts as you go live and stops as the stream ends.
Recording takes 1 credit a minute from the credits of the site (Viewers and credits).
What viewers are told
The recording settings of the site choose what viewers see while one runs:
- REC over the picture.
- REC over the picture, and a notice that the stream is recorded.
- Nothing: viewers are not told.
The replay
A few minutes after the stream ends, the recording is ready. Where it is for viewers, the page of the stream plays it in its player, to everyone who may watch the stream (Who can watch). Otherwise only site administrators can watch it, in Live Stream → Recordings.
A transcript can be made with it too.
Where recordings are kept
WordPlus Cloud makes the recording while the stream is live, then your site takes the files: into the storage of the site where one is set up, or else into its uploads folder.
